Agak Laen 2 Jadi Film Terlaris Sepanjang Masa di Indonesia

Arahan News - RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian cinema has reached a new milestone as Agak Laen 2: Menyala Pantiku! became the country’s all-time box office champion, surpassing Hollywood’s Avengers: Endgame.

According to Cinepoint data on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the comedy-investigative film starring Boris Bokir, Bene Dion, Indra Jegel, and Oki Rengga has drawn 10,980,933 viewers nationwide. The record breaks the previous benchmark set by Avengers: Endgame, which attracted 10,976,338 admissions in Indonesia.

Produced by Imajinari, the 110-minute feature premiered on November 27, 2025, and has since logged 170,914 screenings, averaging 792 viewers per show. Its sustained popularity also allowed it to surpass the domestic hit horror movie KKN di Desa Penari (Community Service in the Dancer’s Village), which had enjoyed remarkable longevity in theaters for more than three months.

Agak Laen 2: Menyala Pantiku! can be translated into Slightly Different: Fire Up My Nursing Home! The film follows four friends who go undercover at a nursing home to investigate a mysterious murder.

Its grounded storyline, blending humor with suspense, resonated strongly with audiences and marked a shift toward locally produced content dominating the domestic market.

The success builds on the foundation of the original Agak Laen, which attracted 9,125,188 viewers and became Indonesia’s highest-grossing comedy in 2024. ***
